NIPT

As of April 1, 2018, it is possible for all pregnant women to opt for the NIPT. The acronym NIPT stands for Non-Invasive Prenatal Test. In this test, a sample of blood is taken to investigate whether the unborn fetus possibly has Down’s, Edwards’ or Patau’s syndrome.
